TELFS

Telfs is a market town with approx. 16.000 inhabitants in the district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol (Austria). It is located 27 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Innsbruck in a basin-like extension of the Inn Valley at the foot of the 2,662 meter high "Hohe Munde".

Telfs has an area of 45.5 km² - it is the third largest town in Tyrol after Innsbruck and Kufstein in terms of population. Telfs is the most populous place in the Tyrolean Oberinntal and the Innsbruck-Land district and is knows as a Sports-town.

Sports Center Telfs

The state-of-the-art sports center in the west of Telfs offers everything an athlete's heart desires. A divisible triple gymnasium (incl. bouldering wall), three indoor tennis courts, three squash courts, a grass football field as well as a lane golf course and a bowling alley. From October to March, the artificial ice rink under the dome is also one of the most beautiful ice sports facilities in Tyrol.
